COMMITTEES OF MEDIATION NORTHERN IRELAND

The Board has established two Committees, to which outside members can be co-opted. The two standing committees of Mediation Northern Ireland are mechanisms of accountability and support for staff in their respective areas of responsibility, as follows:

SERVICES
· The design and delivery of Training courses and opportunities for people to learn about conflict intervention, good relations and peace building.
· Curriculum development.
· Professional standards.
· The provision of mediation and other methods of intervention in situations of conflict or social instability.

RESOURCES
· Fundraising.
· Financial management.
· Human Resource management.
· Management of property and other resources.
