Handling Life's Conflicts
Aim
A useful introductory course designed to provide participants with some tools to handle every day conflicts more constructively when they occur within the workplace, groups and organizations, or even within the family. Handling Life's Conflicts is a prerequisite for Foundation Training in mediation.
Objectives
Give a practical understanding of the dynamics of everyday conflict
Examine personal behaviour and alternative conflict styles
Develop appropriate skills to handle conflict better
Enable people to work positively with diverse groups and individuals
Create practical steps to address everyday conflict
Who is the course for?
This course is suitable for anyone who wants to handle interpersonal relationships better, either personally or professionally.
Duration
This course is available as 7 or 12 hours non-accredited.
Alternatively, to receive Open College Network accreditation at either Level One or Level Two, participants will attend a three day course and complete a learning portfolio.
