Andrew has been responsible for the funding and financial of Mediation Northern Ireland since he joined it in 1998. He is the organisation’s accountant and leads its funding and business development strategies. He was the founding Treasurer of the European Mediation Network.
Prior to his appointment in 1998, he has been the Finance & Administration officer of two Belfast based charities, the HIV Support Centre and the Council for the Homeless. Along side this paid work, he was the voluntary Treasurer of a youth development charity and a Trustee of a Building Preservation Trust.
Before entering the charity world he trained in management accounting in a commercial vehicles dealership and worked in Banking.
Andrew is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, an Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants as a member of the Institute of Fundraising.
