
Call for Sessional Tutors/Facilitators
Mediation Northern Ireland is funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the Peace III Programme to develop and deliver the MOST Project.
MOST is a European and International learning and networking project aimed at addressing issues of segregation, sectarianism and racism. Strand 2 of the project aims to develop the skills of local mediation practitioners to work in an international context and on a cross-cultural basis.
Mediation Northern Ireland is currently seeking independent experienced national and international tutors to facilitate their training course in ‘Cross-Cultural Facilitation & Mediation in Divided Societies.’
Applicants should have experience of facilitating training in at least one of the following areas:
- Conflict Understanding, Conflict Analysis and Intervention Theories
- Developing a Shared Society and Understanding Diversity
- Facilitation of Cross-Cultural Dialogue
- Post Conflict Societies, Trauma & Dealing with the past
Successful applicants will be placed on a reserve panel of tutors who may be called upon to facilitate day-long training events for 19 practitioners from the public, private and voluntary sectors in Northern Ireland and the six Border Counties. Applicants must be self-employed and payment will be based on receipted actuals and NOT as salary costs.

Training days occur in alternate months and will continue to December 2012.
