An advanced mediation course for practicing mediators who want to understand how to intervene in groups and increase their skills as reflective practitioners
Mediation Northern Ireland is holding a Group Mediation Course [Advanced Mediation] on the following dates: Wednesdays 22nd and 29th May and 5thJune, and Tuesday 18th, Wednesdays 19th and 26th June 2013 in 83 University Street, Belfast BT7 1HP from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The Group Mediation Course will build on and consolidate the learning with an additional focus on exploring the skills and theoretical understanding necessary in mediation practice in group or larger situations. Also there will be opportunities to learn from our own experience through reflection and practice sessions.
The course is recognised by NI Open College Network and course members will have the opportunity to complete a portfolio to demonstrate they have been successful in meeting the criteria set for the course.
The course will be led by Laurie Randall and Fred Graham.
The cost of the course is £750 and while refreshing drinks and biscuits will be provided during the course, course members are responsible for providing their own lunches.
Parking can be difficult in the area and course members are encouraged to leave sufficient time to allow for this.
Applications should be sent as soon as possible to Mediation Northern Ireland, 83 University Street, Belfast. BT7 1HP, along with a deposit of £50. The course will be limited to 14 course members.
